After his recent appearance on the Sri Lanka episode of the popular food/travel show "No Reservations with Anthony Bourdain," gastronaut and author Skiz Fernando was bombarded by requests for recipes and tips on his blog, Rice and Curry, which focuses on Sri Lankan cuisine and all things spicy. Fernando shared his family recipe for roasted curry powder in his new book, Rice & Curry: Sri Lankan Home Cooking, but he figured that most people would be too lazy or busy to buy all of the raw spices and roast and grind them in order to make this exceptional blend of 13 ingredients.
